Down Time Can be Hard

It’s a Holiday weekend. All crew is off on Vacation, or Family Fun. I am here, alone, which is normal for me on a yacht. But when I was the only crew member, I ran the show, and had my list of things I wanted to accomplish, so I was busy. With 3 other crew members on this boat, that never gets used…It’s hard to stay busy.

Part of me is amazed that I’m getting paid to hang out on this beautiful boat and be “bored”, and part of me feels guilty to be just hanging out and being bored. I can keep myself busy for about 2 hours in the morning, all the while knowing that anything I accomplish now, is taking away from things to do during my actual work time.

Then..on social media, I stumble across a photo of MY BAR! My vision does exist. In all of my research, I haven’t seen exactly what I’m looking for until now. To know that it’s a possibility makes my goal seem more attainable.

So…In case you are all wondering what I’m looking for… this is it, eventually building 5 little villa’s behind it. Ambition..rejunivated! Being bored on this boat is temporary and ok. Saving money and searching for the Island for THIS bar to be mine.
