Finally outta Florida

I have friends that are already in New York. This particular friend delivers the boat from miami to New York, where the owners live. So the trip there is not Lolly gaggin and site seein. So for us to take this much time…is crazy to him. Every time he asks where we are he had to laugh.

We left Fernandina beach yesterday where I’ll report good news and bad news. The bad news is, the water was so awful, the 6 hours I spent washing her was a waste. Everything looked terrible. However, the owner to the boat next to us told his Captain/Deckhand to take few pointers from me when it comes to washing a boat! He appreciated the time I took and attention to detail

The good news is…I found my new CBCJ. This one has an Australian accent and runs a 140ft boat. They will all be in sag harbor as well, so we’ll make good friends.
