It’s a good thing I don’t like schedules!

I live a very scheduled life. At my dental office, a patient waiting in the waiting room was a rarity. They used to complain they wouldn’t have enough time to read a magazine before their scheduled time.

If I had plans to go somewhere I’m always early. This job was very challenging for me in for that reason.

YB came back to Miami on Wednesday confirming we’d be departing Miami on Saturday. There has been so much to do that I really had to prioritize to get the important things done. So we’d be ready for travel. But I had a schedule, and I was on track. He comes to the boat to bring clothes on Thursday, he says I want to leave Friday. My mind immediately has to shift gears to think of what I need to do to leave a day early. So I run around Thursday, like a chicken with my head cut off. Get the Jeep prepared for 6 month storage, provisions, flowers he likes, engine room ready….then Thursday night he says I want to leave Saturday! OMGOSH

Last night I go to his house to drop the Jeep off and he says I want the boat ready to depart by 7am. I repeated dried, secure and engines running by 7? He says yes. I get up an hour earlier than normal, to be ready by 7. It’s now almost 8 and I haven’t heard a peep from him downstairs.

So I’m relaxing with a cup of coffee trying to change my thought process about schedules.

Sometime today we head to Palm Beach Florida for 2 days, where he’ll visit one of his daughters. He’ll be off the boat a lot, so I will get a lot done then

Well’p GF is up. Gotta go!
