Since our 9 hour driving days are over we’ve been feeling like we’re finally on vacation. Last time, we swam in the fresh water springs where manatees live and we wanted to do that again.
This time, we actually floated down a fresh water river ending in a swimming area with a hole in the middle that divers go down and dive the underwater caverns!
We could not pronounce the river name right and had fun with all the attempts. Itchey Coochie 😳 ha ha
We aren’t supposed to be in Anna Marie Island until Wednesday so we were looking for a place near all of the fresh water springs. We ended up in Crystal River again! The Retreat at Crystal Manatee. HIGHLY recommend. Walking distance to a great sports bar, river walk and springs.
It’s 8:00 and 80 degrees. Our souls are happy!
