California to Miami

Since I’ve done this before, I kinda know what to expect. I’m bringing my paddle board, Snorkel gear and alotta stuff I probably don’t need. The Jeep is packed to the roof!

I did save room for my side kick Rylee. Picked her up in Lancaster on my way to my first pit stop Las Vegas. We stayed at my old stomping grounds; Excalibur. I remember my mom getting confused going back to her room because all the towers were the same. Glad I had Ry, cause all those towers are still the same.

We went to Dicks last resort for dinner. If you’ve never been you should go. The staff are rude and fowl mouthed. They make you offensive hats. The food is good enough, but you are paying for the atmosphere. Overall a fun place

From there we walked the strip. The last time I was traveling, Covid was either in full force, or slowly recovering. It was so nice to see so many people on the strip on a Monday night. We got invited to a random show by an awesome family. They are now our forever friends.

The show was amazing, our new friends wanted us to come with them to the Fremont experience so we went, we danced to an awesome country band and enjoyed the light show. Tomorrow is a 9 hour drive to New Mexico!
