Going Back to GiGi

My old boss called and said he has been saving my position for me. He wanted confirmation I would be returning to GiGi. Since I have been having no luck securing a yacht position in the Caribbean, I agreed. He is so excited to have me back. He sent $1,000 to help with the gas and hotels for my trip.

My middle daughter Rylee is going to be able to do the whole road trip with me as well. I want her to see Destin Florida for sure. So we are going to drive long days between here and there so we can enjoy the festivities during a weekend, like above..

We’ll obviously blog our trip, so you won’t miss any of the fun adventures. Last day at my office will be May 11th. I’m packing up my belongings for storage now, planning to move out of my house next weekend. I’ll spend my last 2 weeks in California staying with a friend in Atascadero. Hopefully, this time, I come home to visit, not to stay!

I will add: going back to GiGi is just to get enough logged hours to get my captains license. From there I will captain yachts in the Caribbean to research and save additional funds to purchase my bar, on my white sandy beach!

    1. Oooo noooo. This is part of the plan. I’ll stay on GiGi long enough to have enough logged hours to get my captains license. Then I’ll captain boats in the Caribbean whilst doing research for the bar! 😘
