About a week ago, my ex yacht boss text me asking for the girls info that I had interviewed before I left. I shared her info, then she text me saying “he text me out of the blue and wants to leave for the Bahamas tomorrow. Is this the spur of the moment things you spoke of?”
I giggled to myself and replied yep, and as soon as you jump through the hoops to make it happen, he’ll change his mind and cancel.
They set a date to leave and I knew the texts and questions would begin. So I set boundaries. Informed them of my work schedule and explained, I don’t have time to pee during the day, let alone check my phone. So all answers will be after 6pm.
My first text was 7am, she couldn’t even get in the marina gate to get to the boat. Then after work I had several messages. I responded to all.
My ex boss said “she knows nothing, you need to leave that freakin restaurant and get back on this boat!”
I replied “make me an offer I can’t refuse! Ha ha.
Picked up an extra shift at work today to make up for the rainy day schedule, that helps!
I’m starting to get a circle of friends. Love it!
