The true test

Obviously this job has to sustain my cost of living. On paper, with an average tip day, it does. But unknowingly, we must factor in storm days, when we close. Snowbirds leaving, which means no tourists, which means less beach goers and less tips.

I was going to give myself 1 month to average it all out, to confirm I’m not dipping into bar fund to support myself. My middle daughter Rylee and Scott will be here in a few weeks, after that, I can assess, my income and determine if I need to return to yachting (the money maker) until Covid restrictions lift.
