Thunder Storm Schedule

Showed up to work, no one was there yet. The storm last night blew tables, Chairs and umbrellas all over the place, and we are expecting another storm today.

I text my manager to see if maybe she forgot to let me know we were closed. We are opening. So I started putting the furniture puzzle pieces back together. We were actually open for business for about an hour, then the second storm hit. So we closed and began cleaning mode. SO FUN! Cranked up the music, the cook sang to the top of his lungs, and we all sang with him when we knew the words. We danced by each other instead of walking. We danced together….loved it. Clocked out at noon and went back to, what’s turning out to be my favorite non dive bar. Kokonut tiki bar. They have the best salad. Greens, strawberries, mandarin oranges, apples, chicken. Walnuts and coconut. I wasn’t gonna drink. But I ended up sitting next to a really nice guy who was worth hangin out with. So I had a few.

Still storming, but I knew I didn’t want to sit and drink knowing I had to drive. Geoff and I exchanged numbers and will meet up again sometime.

Now I’m home enjoying the wonderful thunderstorms we don’t get in California.
