Another Long Day

Recently, I’ve been on the move North. Now that I found a job I’m not in a hurry to go anywhere. I just need to stay close to cell service or WiFi so I can secure housing. Slept in till 7:30 went down to lobby with iPad, phone. And Hot coffee. researched all of my housing contacts and found new ones.

After about 4 hours, nothing was panning out, so I decided to go to the beach. I reach the parking lot and I circle around for 15 minutes waiting for someone to leave. Finally find a spot. As soon as I pull in, I see I have a message from one of my contacts. She would like a zoom meeting. I have terrible service here, so I give up my parking space to go to better service. Ya know..do the responsible thing. I do need a place to live.

I drive about 4 miles and respond to her. 20 minutes go by I respond again. She replies oh I’m busy right now, I’ll be available for the zoom meeting later today or tomorrow. Argh. So I’m obviously gonna need a hotel room again, and I’m NOT paying another $350.

Got a hotel room further away from the vacationers. All of a sudden people started responding. Some were no longer available and some were too far away or unfurnished. Then…..one lady responds. She interviews me over the phone, would like to meet me. Her place is so close to where I work, it’s furnished and she was impressed with my story. I have an appointment tomorrow at noon. She did ask for my Facebook link. 😳 hope she likes fun people!
