This time I changed plans last minute. I had way too much to do and was running so behind that I had to cancel my little going away party.

However, I HAD to say goodbye to my Captain Harvey and Chef Gila, who have been solid friends to me since I’ve met them. So we went to a nice dinner and said “I’ll see you in Sag”!

Where the Jeep is staying this time, I call it the “condo” it’s fully enclosed and has climate control. I shall not abandon that thing again. It will be perfect when I return.

Today was an awesome day, as again I was commended by surrounding boat owners who are on their boats everyday, or the dock men who see me work every day. A boat owner came over to me and said “I’ve never seen anyone work so hard, I would love to give you my sons information. If you ever want to join yachting again. He will hire you in a minute, based on what I’ve witnessed.

Such a good feeling. The dock master came to the boat to say goodbye at the end of his work day and said, if you return, I don’t care whose boat you’re on, you call me and I will make room for that boat, because of you.

I leave here early in the morning with a full heart and excitement in my eyes. Excited for a bit of a vacation and relaxation, not having to take care of anyone or anything, but I must secure a job, ya know the kind where you work 8 hours and have 2 days a week off? No more 7 days a week!
