My Last Week With Gigi

I just spent 6 hours washing Gigi for the last time. I’m sure alotta people would do a half/assed job knowing it really doesn’t matter. But I want the next person to come aboard, and say wow! This boat is pristine.

I printed out my maintenance log so they could see everything that needs to be done and when. I have a technician list of everyone we used and in which city we used them. I have a spare parts list with part numbers and brand for re-ordering. Should make it easy for the next person.

I get a text from Boss this morning saying, “hey, could you make a list of…” I gave myself the eye roll and said, “its already done” He says its going to get windy make sure to mind your lines.” Another eye roll. I have now been on this boat more hours than he. I have managed it alone, and he still feels the need to tell me these things. Too CUTE!

…AND now I might have a slight detour in a few months. Below Deck advertised casting call for the next season of Below Deck Med on my crew Facebook page. So I applied as the oldest deckhand ever to be seen on the show. HA HA!
