Plans are rollin along

So the island I wanted to visit…JVD is in the BVI’s. Their Covid protocol requires negative test, purchase Covid insurance and mandatory 4 day quarantine at their facility. So I will be in St Thomas USVI hoping Covid restrictions ease up and I can get to JVD

I messaged a friend I met in Sag Harbor about my job. I put she and my boss in connection. They are working out the details. Atleast I know my GiGi will be taken care of.

When I was making up the duties in the job description…I got tired just thinking about all of the things this poor one person has to do by herself.

My boss asked me “do you think she’ll have the energy to do what I need? And will she be as cool as you. I replied. “No one is as cool as me”

But this girl is pretty cool. I just hope she can handle the “extra, non deckhand duties”. That takes a “special/dumb” person for that ha ha

I applied for a job on the island at a mom/daughter run restaurant. I inquired about housing in a place that has an honor system bar. There is a sign on the wall that tells you how much drinks/snacks are. You make it yourself and leave your money in the jar!
