Empty Boat

Jenna in Phoenix, Rylee in Atlanta.

It was such a wonderful 6 days, having them in my world. They got to meet my yacht family, see the beaches I hangout at, and experience my boat at sea.

We did spend a lot of their time here enjoying the boat. Sunrise coffee, early evening wine on the sun deck, movies and popcorn at night.

Now I’m left with my early evening wine alone, tomorrow no one to share coffee with. I walk by Jennas room and see the unmade bed, Rylees cup of tea in the Jeep from breakfast this morning…needless to say, there have been a few tears today

My friend Karlie and her daughter get here Wednesday. Hopefully that helps.

Deciding whether or not we need to save the Manatee with the remote control HA HA

  1. Hi Stacy! I just joined your blog. Your Mom and I are all part of the “ girlfriends” from HS. I love your adventures, your attitude and determination to make a dream come true! I too worked on a “ boat”, except it was a cruise ship. Peggy DeForest, another of the girlfriends got me the job in my late 40’s. I saw the world and maintained a life at home. Best time and job of my life as social staff. I had the job from about 91-96 when the ships were sold to Norwegian CL and we all got laid off. I came back to reality but never regretted taking the job!
So fun to see you living the dream! Enjoy!
