And the chaos resumes

I haven’t posted, because I’ve really been enjoying my family and friends, while winding down and making sure everything is set for my return to GiGi

I text my boss to remind him I fly in late Wednesday, and want to confirm he arranged for the boat to be in the water for me. I have a lot to do in the 5 days until he returns and we start heading south. I offered to arrange that if he had not. He responds: the boat will be back in the water on Monday and we’ll leave Tuesday.

Ummm…without the boat in the water, I cannot verify generator repair was completed correctly, nor can I use shower, or brush my teeth. And washing the boat while it’s in the dirt up on stilts??? His reply was. Change your flight to Friday, work your magic Saturday and Sunday and I’ll see you Monday. I said: and a rental car, as there is no restaurant or grocery store within 30 miles. He says rent a car, get a hotel near the airport and ride to and from the boat to get it ready. He has no idea that to get from the boat to the airport is a ferry ride and over an hour drive each way. But Atleast I have some information about how he plans for this to go. So, I have 2 extra days at home but have to run in panic mode once I get back. Awe…now I remember why I was frustrated in the beginning. No plans, and if you have a plan, it will change
