My boss flies out in a few days for the city because it’s the end of the season. He’ll then travel around the US until the end of October, rejoining me in North Carolina. Then we’ll make our way back to Florida.
Since we only have a few days left he decided to take me out as his guest. We anchored , floated and swam. Drank wine danced and had an awesome day. Then he casually mentions. “I’m building a home on an island In The Bahamas that is part of a 50 home, 1 hotel and restaurant development. I think it needs your beach bar at the other end. He calls the developer, pitches my idea, the developer says…fly her out when you guys get back to miami and we’ll look at her business plan!”
Can you believe my luck to have found this man who has so many connections and believes in me and my journey. Now I have to get my business plan from my mind to paper before mid November!

this is incredible news! want you to know that we have followed you every step of the way, but haven’t left any comments. we have been very involved with my step-son being hospitalized for 10 weeks. he’s finally out of that nightmare of a hospital and into a new living environment. he couldn’t go back to his home of 24 years because he’s on a feeding tube and they are not able to have any IV or feed tube residents. it’s been very discouraging and upsetting. he is doing very well at the new place — a house with only 6 residents. they are set up for mentally challenged individuals and agreed to have sign language interpreters in and out 24/7. we were very fortunate. well…enough about us…we are living your dream vicariously and enjoying all of your posts. love and hugs your way. xo

Gosh..I’m glad he’s in good hands now. That is so hard trying to find trustworthy caregivers for mentally challenged relatives. I hope he adapts well to his new surroundings.
