Glorious Day

Days like this, make the long days and hard work all worth it. Woke up earlier because he wanted to “hit the road earlier” he had already done some of my chores. We undock, and head out. I’m inside cleaning because the seas are calm and maneuvering around is easy. He comes down and tells me, stop what you’re doing and get out here. I go upstairs and see the beautiful sunrise and rainbow.

Later in the day he texts me and says, seas are calm, clear and warm. If ya wanna swim I’ll stop. I dropped what I was doing went to my room and put my suit on, grabbed a towel and my underwater camera. I was standing behind him when he text, “let me know when you’re ready”. We all laughed. He shut everything down and as soon as I could I, dove in. So warm and refreshing. I’m in heaven! His guest is a bit timid but she decided to join me.

He lowers the swim deck for us and we relax and float a while. His guest said “thank you Stacy for making me adventurous, I would never had done that if it wasn’t for you” I said, “yeah I’m that girl. My friends either thank me for the shenanigans, or ask what the heck were you thinking”

After showering all of the salt water off, he says ok. Show me what you’ve learned. Start up the engines, get your coordinates and take us in. OMG two awesome things in one day. I did all of my steps right and thought I had the coordinates right until an hour later he says hey! Isn’t that our inlet? I said no, I’m going to Norfolk..he said well I’ve been here a few times and that’s our inlet. I said oh I’m sorry I thought you said we were going to Norfolk, what is the name of that one? He said the one next to Norfolk. We laughed so hard.
