I am done with my STCW and PDSD courses…thank God! Now all I have to do is a physical tomorrow. Then I might look for some day work by dock walking. Which means I will walk the Ft. Lauderdale Marina and hand out resumes to Captains of Yachts. Day work might consist of staining teak wood, polishing metals, waxing painted parts or washing windows. All while looking at the above view! I’m starting to submit resume’s letting agencies know I will have my Power Boat license after Friday. I’m so glad I signed up for that course, as it appears to be a requirement in a lot of the jobs I’ve been looking at. Scheduled my first dental appointment for a cleaning. I have never…ever in my adult life had dental treatment outside of the office I was working in. This will be an interesting experience to see it from the outside in. Cheers Friends!

I got nervous for you on your post from yester day with the mask and fire and smoke and OH MAN I think I would of passed out. I am so Closter phobic. Thanks Lynnett! I knew it was going to have hard parts and there are parts of my job that are going to be tough. I don’t mind tough, I don’t mind working hard…but I have a whole new respect for our firefighters and I pray that in 5 years when I have to re-certify…I will not have to do the practical again! 😂
