I’m so happy to have such accepting fellow students in my class. I sit here with a girl just graduated from college, a young married, whose husband is a captain on a sail boat and wanted her to be certified for safety, a young chef from a cruise ship…here I am 53 years old doing this whole thing backwards, and these kids and I are having a ball.
Today I learned how to upright an upside down life raft. How to don an immersion suit and maneuver in it. My fellow students and I have so much fun together that it takes the intimidation away. We are all going to dinner and drinks on Friday night to celebrate our certification. I will invite the gal from San Diego. She just got here yesterday!

Oh my gosh how exciting! Sounds like you are going to be doing a lot of the same safety stuff that Levi had to do! Sure you will be taking classes on knot dying soon! So proud of you Stacy, what an exciting adventure! We love hearing all about it 🙂
