New old acquaintances
Got a text from CBC Joey “you about here yet?” I said unfortunately no, we are in Palm Beach until after a thanksgiving. He says “well I’m gonna drive my truck to you and get my stuff”. I don’t know why, but that felt like home.
Technical difficulties continued
We started the morning off with half of our problems fixed. But one of us wanted to focus on the one item not fixed. And it became a bigger issue than it needed to be. I was firm when I said give me a minute. He did, and all is well in the world.

Start the morning off right…dry the boat, de-docking preparation..,all that goes wonderfully.,,then boss has no chart navigation anymore, he has no depth, no recommended path, no engine RPM..etc.
I forgot how tiresome travel days are
Up with the sunrise, which these days that’s sleeping in. I’ve reached a point where I have my routine. And I’d like not to have it interfered with. Ha ha. Boss tried to help but that turns into…me questioning…did it get done?

Savannah Georgia
It’s amazing how different things are now. When I was here 4 1/2 months ago, I was new to the industry, I missed so much thinking I had to work from sun up to sun down. I still squeezed in seeing some sites and had fun, but now it’s so different
Hurricane Eta
Rainy day schedule. With the boss on board I can’t do what I did last month. Binge Netflix. Kept busy in the engine room, laundry then we continue our card game where the loser buys dinner.
Next Stop Hilton Head
The seas have been rough, so we’ve been staying on the ICW, which is beautiful with calm waters and a lot to see along the river. However, as I’m navigating our path, my App has caution areas. This path at low tide can have only 2 feet of water at times.
Full Circle
Have been doing this for almost 6 months now! Wow. Feels like a year. Some of our stops on our way back to Florida are the same marinas I saw for my first time on our way up.
