My boss tells me his wishes. I execute, by organizing the necessary techs to come aboard and complete each task. My boss gets in such a gosh darn hurry (for no reason) I understand rush situations, when there is a need. But when EVERYTHING is rush, NOTHING gets done right.

Woke up at 6:30am. Still windy enough to not have to dry the boat. Had my coffee, did a few chores then headed out to register the Jeep in Florida. I’ve been driving around on expired California tags.

The shop said all it needed was a new radiator, which I did not trust as that is not where the pre Florida leak was. But I went with it. Turns out..no more leaks. So…I’m obviously on this boat. Without any family…except for the family I’ve grown to know over the summer. My bosses daughters Stephanie, her husband Johnny, their child 11 month old Conrad. Alexa, her husband Matt and their kids Radley and the infamous GiGi.

I thought because we are chasing the sun, and it feels nothing like Thanksgiving, I wouldn’t feel homesick. But I do. Every year, I say it….and mean it, that my family is everything to me.

Capt Harvey and Gila have been about 6 days behind us. When we had transmission issues, that helped them catch up. My bosses family being here in Palm Beach we are here for so long, they were finally able to catch up

We will be here for 5 nights! This place is amazing. Boss has a new guest, so I have more free time. There is a whole street lined with restaurants and bars and lighted parks. Finished morning chores, boss said go see the sights.
