Started my chores, YB said that it was going to a beautiful day and he wanted the 3 of us to take a day trip to Greenport NY. what a cute little town. We took a slow cruise over there and docked the boat. they were ready, but I was still sweaty from chores. I showered and met them at their first stop for a drink
We ended up arriving between lunch and dinner so most places were open but not serving anything till 5. YB usually likes elegant places with a romantic ambiance. A tavern caught my eye. I jokingly said “well y’all, we could go to that there tavern For a drink.” They did not hesitate. I was shocked
Even more shocking was GF wanted to play a game of pool! It was so fun. Then we meandered through some shops and made our way to lunch.
On the way back we had great conversation, which at one point YB asked what I thought each of my kids would be doing one year from now. Then he said “we’ll, I know we are going to grow old together”. We all laughed. I finished chores and they went to bed.
