My journey from the West Coast to East Coast had been planned and mapped for months. I knew where I was stopping and what I’d be doing once I got there.
This trip, I drive til I’m tired, pick a hotel and stop. Several hotels have been in places where walking distance attractions are unavailable, so I just relax in the room
It is so odd. Today I feel like I’ve gone back in time. New Mexico still has strict mask laws. I haven’t had to worry about that for a long time and certainly no where on my journey until now. Gas was on average 1.79 now it’s around $3.00
The good news is, my new landlord said his place is now available for me to move in. So I can begin that process as soon as I’m ready. Guess I shoulda kept my truck and trailer ha ha!
Tomorrow I will make my last stop in needles. Enjoy a place on the river hopefully. Then arrive home on Thursday. Excited to see my California peeps, but sure do miss my Florida peeps as well!
