I belong to a yacht crew Facebook group. A gal I met in Ft Lauderdale is organizing a video shoot on 3 yachts in St Thomas. she invited me to be a “charter guest” for the shoot.
She said the owner of these yachts has great connections and could possibly help direct me in my endeavor.
I’m finding that the cost of living on an island vs the potential income I can earn working in A bar while I learn, is quite out of balance. Like I can rent a $1700 a month dump and earn $10 an hour. You do the math. Ha ha. Covid is preventing free travel to several islands I want to “learn on” so I may stick to yachting for another season. Oh darn right? Best life ever!
