Busy Day

My poor baby

My first day here was washing and drying GiGi. Then I pick a project. Like my routine in Sag Harbor after my boss left.

Second day here was arranging our “technical difficulties repair” as well as generator repair AGAIN. I also needed to get the poor Jeep towed, get a rental car. Drive to Ft Lauderdale and get my mail. My bosses neighbor highly recommended a repair shop called Larry’s. So I had it towed there. Their tech determined the clutch is fine, they were able to put it in gear and move it. Maybe rolling it onto the tow truck bed loosened things up? He also said, the radiator is leaking, NOT the freeze plug area. I mention to him, that the leak I observed at the end of my road trip, was from the block somewhere, mid engine, not near the radiator. Furthermore, I had the radiator, Thermostat and hoses all changed 2 years ago. Mechanics in Ft Lauderdale said it was freeze plug. But I trusted this tech and said replace the radiator again. The fact they could get it in gear is a good sign. Then all I need to do is a new soft top, and rust treatment, whatever that means.

Heard from captain Harvey and Gila who live about 20 minutes away from my marina. We’ll get together soon and they can show me around their hometown.

Looking forward to driving my Jeep in this tropical weather and seeing some sights
