I forgot how tiresome travel days are

Up with the sunrise, which these days that’s sleeping in. I’ve reached a point where I have my routine. And I’d like not to have it interfered with. Ha ha. Boss tried to help but that turns into…me questioning…did it get done?

I dry her off, luckily he goes for a walk, I check engines and generator, fill fresh water tank, turn all navigation electronics on, start generator, disconnect and put away shore power, start engines and stabilizer. He returns and we are ready to head out.

It’s another 7 hour rough sea day. I just sit there and stare at the horizon so I don’t get sick. Make a few calls for parts, make boss some lunch, drive the boat for an hour.. we get to our slip in New Smyrna Florida. Our neighbors boat says river dunes North Carolina is their home. Pretty soon they yell out to us, scott from river dunes says hi to davar and tell Stacy to hurry up and finish drying the boat! Ah the friends we make. I finish my chores about 6…rally and go to dinner with boss. Another long day and Good night for the books
