Back in the water she goes

Finally get into a routine again. Washing her in the dirt was pointless. Can’t clean inside without water. No A/C or heat without water. I was able to get her pretty much in tip top shape for boss’s return. Although the weather is getting so darn cold that being outside without shoes is unbearable.

Early wake up 5am to get her ready for departure. We head out at 6:30am, sun is just rising. Beautiful. Part of the way in the ocean and part of the way in the river. We have wonderful conversation about each other’s vacations. Me with my family and friends and his travels around the US. We arrive at Bald Island. The place he wanted to take me on our way up but there was no room. Beautiful charming marina.

He has guests inside as I rinse the boat. He yells Stacy! Don’t dry anything but the windows. It’s too cold. But I cannot have spotty stainless steel anywhere or windows. So I continue on with my plan. He leaves his guests and starts spraying the back down while I continue being stubborn and polish my silver. The restaurants aren’t open for some reason so he brings back tacos. We have wine, good music and visit until the guests leave. My eyes go down with the sun. I wonder what adventure we’ll have tomorrow?
