In talking to other Captains and crew, I’ve been told that the dew does NOT need to be dried off so early in the morning. If you get it by 10am the sun isn’t hot enough to dry the spots so you’ll be fine. I’ve been playing around with that a bit. So today I slept in til 6:30, I showered BEFORE work and even put a little makeup on. We were going to take a movie star we met at a restaurant out today so I wanted to be presentable. Did my morning chores. Boss went to play tennis…
And I felt like spring cleaning. I cleaned and dried all bilge areas. One had about 30 gallons of fresh water in it! That’s another chore figuring out where that is coming from. Then it starts to rain and it rains and it rains..obviously we are no longer going out so I continue my spring cleaning. The sun comes out about 3:30 and I start to dry my boat. My phone goes off and I get this picture from a crew member on Queen D

I see the picture and who it’s from and wonder how he got so close. I turn around and there she is…Queen D right in my backyard. How fun! Ha ha it’s 6:30pm I’m done for the day sitting in my beach chair on my patio with a glass of wine. When it gets hot, I cool off in my outdoor shower! At peace today!

Like your patio and the view! Glad you feel good about the day!
