2 weeks ago, I met Captain Russ at music in the park. We have stayed in touch. Today CBC Joey was helping me with my air conditioning unit. I hear a voice behind me that says “so…your boat is from Miami?” I turn around and say yes…then recognize the face. It’s Captain Russ. He invites me to dinner. I explain again, that I never know when my dinner time is, and when I get a dinner time, some times I’m so tired that showering and putting makeup on is out of the question.
He sees that I’m busy with CBC Joey and he offers help and says let’s get a bite. He texts me later and says we have reservations at 7:30. Well he didn’t get to be in his position waiting around on lolly-gaggers so he makes a point I WILL SEE YOU at 7:30 or 8:00. I have a super long hard work day but am able to Ralley and be there. We have the nicest night! Easy conversation, great advice for my yachting career. (The Captain does the hiring and firing on his yacht) so he was able to offer some great tips. And the best part is, his yacht has a movie theater. I just need to decide which movie I want to watch…and find a night I can have off!
